International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health Reception

On February 20th to the 23rd, the Annual Meeting of the ISSWSH was held at the California Foyer, The US Grant Hotel, and the Westin Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, California. The International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) was founded with three core principles and the unending dedication to helping women suffering from sexual dysfunction.

1)      They aim to facilitate communication between scholars, scientists, practitioners, and researchers about sexual dysfunction and experience in women.

2)      The ISSWSH is dedicated to the highest levels of ethical and professional conduct when it comes to education, research, and medical practice when it comes to women’s sexuality.

3)      The last core principle is the collection and dissemination of information regarding women’s sexual health and sexuality.

On February 20th to the 23rd, the ISSWH held their Annual Meeting at the California Foyer, The US Grant Hotel, and the Westin Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, California.

The Event

Prominent psychologists, researchers, physicians, and sexual health experts from across the United States attended the event in San Diego.  In addition to many enlightening lectures, the event was catered by the hotels in which they were held.  Some of the prominent lectures were:

2)      A Billion Wicked Thoughts: What the Internet Reveals About Sexual Desire by Ogi Ogas, PhD

3)      Rebuilding Intimacy After an Affair: An Integrative Approach by Douglas Snyder, PhD

4)      Cultural Context of Sexual Difficulties: With Case Representation of Genital Practices from Around the World by Sara Nasserzadeh, PhD
